"Your 'curses' are nothing but 'blessings' to me."
In this modern world, tower-like dungeons known as "Matenrou" have appeared all over the world. Our protagonist, Takamichi Yoshito, is a convenience store clerk who feels miserable, constantly being yelled at by the store manager. Dreaming of making a fortune, Yoshito becomes a "conqueror" of the towers shortly after the skyscrapers appear. However, he has no savings to invest in weapons and equipment, and falls completely behind as a conqueror. Hoping for a sudden turnaround, Yoshito sells all of his real-life savings and the few items he has acquired in the Matenrou to purchase the skill "Infinite Revival" from a shady merchant, which allows for resurrection within the dungeon. However, "Infinite Revival" has a hidden drawback: upon resurrection, a "death penalty" is randomly applied, inflicting a powerful, permanent debuff so severe that even a single resurrection is enough to render him unable to survive as an adventurer. Yoshito despairs over this curse-like skill, but his situation changes when he obtains the rare skill "Reversal" in a hidden room in the dungeon. The skill "Reverse" reversed the severe negative effects of Yoshito's "Death Penalty" permanent debuff caused by "Infinite Resurrection", turning them all into positive effects...!
